No Need To Set The Alarm

I was doing all those things I normally do on a Sunday night.  I reached for the alarm clock to check the alarm time.  Over the weekend, I set it later than during the week.  During the week, I have to get up for work.  On weekends, I have to get up to meet the bike club for the weekly ride.  On Sunday, I need to set it back for the early (groan) wake up schedule.

Only, this time, I didn’t have to do anything.  Monday is a holiday.  I do not have to go to work.  I do not have to wake up early to catch the bus.  (and I do not have to ride the bus with a bunch of people who clearly hate Monday morning even more than I do.)  I had forgotten that this was a long weekend.  The realization is obviously Today’s Perfect Moment
