Yellow Was the Night

Here it is Saturday and I realize that I haven’t kept up with the perfect moments of the past few days. It isn’t like there hasn’t been any.  Mostly, and I know this thanks to my Fitbit, I have just needed to get some sleep.

Nonetheless, Friday saw some coworkers and myself fighting downtown crowds to watch the Blue Jays pummel the Seattle Mariners. Perhaps pummel isn’t the right word, but as the season hasn’t been very kind to the Blue Jays so far, I think we will take all the cliché sports adjectives for our own use, whether they are appropriate or not.

Lot’s of things qualify for The Perfect Moment, but I am going to stick with the amazing shot of the CN Tower that I took.  I have seen the structure lit up in many different ways, but this is a colour I have not seen.  I thought it looked quite stunning.

About Anthony

I am: equal parts rebel, romantic and shockingly average Joe. a writer trapped inside of an ESL teacher's body. an introverted attention seeker. a teacher who hopes one day to be called "Captain, my Captain." an intellectual who can do some very dumb things. a person whose Japan experience, despite being so long ago, still exerts a strong influence upon him. a lover of books, music, beer, hockey and Pizza.

I think the tower looks quite stunning too, Anthony — it’s a pretty nice substitute for a more perfect, perfect moment.
