Road Trip

I had a rather quick road trip recently. I drove to PEI and flew back rather quickly.  In between that I managed to fix a toilet, scrub and paint a room, reattach some doors, eat some food, drink some PEI and non PEI beer, attach a shower head, change some printer toner, set up a computer and catch a few minutes of TV.

I know I am not really doing the whole adventure any kind of literary justice. I am still tired though and I will just have to let my pictures do the talking

 Some thoughts on the trip.

  • Quebec’s highway rest stops have a bit more rustic charm than Ontario’s, but I think we have the edge on food.  Also, it seems like some of these are undergoing remodelling, so this might soon be a thing of the past.
  • While traveling, you can meet some nice people.
  • Being able to buy beer and pop and chips and coffee in one place is not a bad idea.

Some thoughts on my return.

I am not fond of public transportation to and from the airport

It snowed on the day I returned!!  It’s the middle of May!  You might not see it in the picture, but it’s true.

  1. My mountain snow has finally melted. I wore flip flops Monday. It will probably snow at least one more time before 4th of July and not stick. That’s the norm here.
