May 25, 2014 Clean Sheet Embrace

Image

This blog was always intended to be a reflection of the day.  It was meant to help me identify all of the positive events of the day and select one as the perfect moment.  In the short time that I have been doing so, it has certainly helped.  I feel much better.

Today’s post, however, will slightly detour from this.  Instead of looking back at the perfect moment, I will be looking ahead.  Perhaps that is cheating, but perhaps not. Feel free to comment.  Either way, I am doing it, and nothing can stop me.

I am looking forward to a particular sensation, while not at all rare, is still worth commenting on.  My bed has new clean sheets on it, and after some sweaty yard work, my body will emerge clean from the shower.  There might be a few things better, but a clean body on clean sheets is a great feeling.  I liken it to being embraced by a cloud.  Not the scientific, vapour filled cloud, but rather the dreamy, soft, comfortable cloud of our imagination.  Perhaps, the chance for a perfect sleep.

I think it was worth breaking the blog rules for this, don’t you?
